The Ateneo Center for Educational Development (ACED) serves as the primary education outreach arm of Ateneo de Manila University. Established in 1997, ACED was created to help close the poverty gap by improving the quality of basic education in the Philippine public school system at scale.

Our Mission & Strategy
ACED works directly with public schools and local government units (LGUs) to bridge educational inequality. The organization identifies and addresses the specific barriers that prevent children from learning, such as poverty, hunger, and a lack of access to quality educational resources.
